Home Checks

As the bread and butter of our Home Management Services, home checks consist of a thorough inspection of your house and property. Home checks stop small issues from turning into LARGE costly problems. Just by allowing our staff to:

  • Survey the perimeter of your property and inspect the interior and exterior of the house.
  • Check for signs of forced entry / vandalism.
  • Identify maintenance issues.
  • Run faucets / Disposals and flush toilets.
  • Ensure all heating, cooling, Electrical and water systems are working properly.
  • Check for frozen pipes, ice dams, or other potential damage(s).
  • Keep your property free of flyers, papers, etc. that could signal prolonged absence.
  • Set thermostats to desired arrival temp prior to arrival.
  • Start any vehicles on the property to keep them in good working order.
  • Emergency/Alarm Response (24 hrs)
  • Annual punch list and inspections

After each home check you will receive an emailed report of the inspection including photos of your home and documentation of any issues that need to be addressed. Each spring, we will provide you with a comprehensive list of recommended repairs and maintenance items so that you are able to not only retain, but also increase the value of your property. We always have a 24 hour a day on call representative at your service.

We can also manage Sub Contractors, set up repairs, pay bills ( A 15% Administrative fee does apply ). We take the headache out of picking a good contractor as we know who to use and even better who not to use. Electricians, Plumbers, Heating / Hvac, Carpenters, Painters, Snow plowing, Landscaping, Dryer vent cleaning. You name the service, We have a contractor that works in that trade.

An annual contract is required for all management services with the exception of housekeeping. Our monthly management fees vary depending on the location of the property, Also the needs of the owner. Rental By Owner Management Services

Colorado Home Check is also available to help manage your short & long term rental clients if you choose to rent out your property. We cannot manage the bookings of your rental property however; we can manage client services for you once the house is booked. We will do all of this for a flat monthly fee and DON’T TAKE a 40% commission like most management companies, Saving you thousands in rental income over the span of just a few months.

Rental Management services include:

  • Check In/Out services: Reprogramming door keypad/locks if necessary and inspecting the property after rental clients have left
  • Airport pickups and drop offs in your vehicle
  • House keeping and laundry services
  • Snow plowing & snow removal
  • Hot Tub preparation & maintenance
  • Lawn care & Landscaping
  • Summerize the property
  • Winterize the property
  • Provision of a 24hr on call representative and maintenance assistance for renters
